So The latest update to the Star Trek MMO also saw the addition of this gem to their website art. This unbalanced lady is now trapped mid faceplant across their front page. 

The best part: This is what they were using before. 

Maybe we should have a “put Commander Riker in this pose” instead of Hawkeye for this one.

Oh, I see.  That makes sense.  She’s trapped on a diagonal planet with a refractive environment that distorts her vision, so she has to look away to accurately aim at the thing she actually wants to shoot at!  Also, her uniform shrunk in the wash.  >_>

spodiddly submitted: Well this is my first ever redraw that I want to submit to this awesome blog. Mostly out of anger about this post and how this completely goes against about what women are in the world of Star Trek. I mean you can have a woman dressing in something like this and not have it be super sexualized for the male gaze, especially since women are considered equals in the Federation and would be more inclined to wear actual uniforms. If you going to do something like that, then at the very least make one for the guys too. (Sorry for the quick slop coloring job I did these in like 30 minutes)

Also that leather jacket is so tight that I imagined it would constrict her a bit, so I tried to adjust for that
