Hey! I just discovered this blog and LOVE it! Great, great job you do here! ^___^ All I wanted to say is, that there’s one thing I had to think of, when I saw a lot of these pictures, especially the ones where the spine seems to crack. And I’m really suprised nobody else seemed to see the similarity. Remember these guys?
Yay! The worm guys from Men in Black. A lot of heroines here (the ones with a 90° angle-crack in their spine) seem to have bodies like them. Maybe they’re related? ;-)

No wonder that she is so scared, with that leg. If I woke up seeing my leg turned into that .. strange.. thing, I would have been scared as hell indeed.
The sad part is that that image might actually make more sense than the original. I love the reactions of the stuffed animals.

Just a quick redraw of the figure itself more than the actual character. As you can see, I took some artistic liberties outside the panel to actually see what the WHOLE POSE would look like compared to what we are limited to seeing inside the actual panel.
Now bear in mind that I am not a professional artist by any means and I’m sure some of the anatomy is off in some way or another, but I did at least attempt to make things look right.
First things first. I went with the profile pose because with Moon Knight’s head in the shot where it is (at least I assume that’s him), shifting the position to the direction her rear is facing would render the scene a bit questionable since she wouldn’t be facing her opponent offscreen. At least not entirely. Profile shots can be dynamic and sexy. The trick is making sure you don’t get lazy by just doing those.
Second, I gave the poor girl an actual WAIST. Art, dude… from a woman’s perspective… we do possess organs and they all sit in the same place that they do on every other person. Just because she’s a superhero does not mean she does not require organs to live. At least not last time I checked… Also nixed the swayback a bit. Repeat after me, kids. Ms. Marvel is not a horse. Ms. Marvel is not a horse. Ms. Marvel is not a horse.
We clear on that? Yes? Good! Let’s move on.
Hopefully I did a decent job of turning those boobs back into boobs instead of sweater zeppelin missiles. I swear, they look like they’re going to launch out of her chest.
And then I gave myself ideas -snerk- enter the tactical TATA missiles issued to each and every superheroine upon donning the outfit. That’s why they can wear such skimpy clothes!
It makes a lot of sense actually. If your boobs will fly off every fight, you’d want to be wearing thin fabric, both to facilitate their launch, and so it wouldn’t cost too much to replace. Of course, you’d still have to wear something. After all, if you went into battle with your breasts exposed, it’d be SCANDALOUS.
