I’ve been meaning to refine this for a month but school keeps hammering on me so I’ll just go ahead and post it as-is. :P It’s supposed to look terrible anyway.

This fell out of my brain after spending a few hours reading the hilarious, depressing, and at times oddly inspiring Escher Girls blog, which deals with the fucking ridiculous “sexy” portrayals of women in comics, fantasy art, game art, etc. etc. etc.

My favorite panel is the one where her boobs are framing her face. I laughed so hard while I was drawing that panel that I had a bad stomach cramp afterward. That is how lame I am.

This is brilliant and you win the Internet today.

I love that panel where her boobs frame her face too!  The 2nd panel though really made me laugh because it took me a second to realize that wasn’t her hip, that was her butt cheek, it’s exactly how I feel when I get images for my tumblr and you really captured the WTFery!

Awesome!  And yeah, his healing factor would fix him right up.  Unless he spent too long like that, would it just heal him in that position and he’d be stuck like this forever?  At least he’s lucky that with Psylocke around, he could ask her for tips on how to move around when you’re stuck in screwed up positions.

This actually looks way more plausible as exercise poses than as any sort of intimidating fighting warrior stance.

I love all of this.

I play a Chiss Operative in TOR and when I stand still while shooting she moves her upper body to keep the target in front of her… this usually isn’t an issue until sometimes her lower body doesn’t try to move. I have two screen shots of how it looks and it really wigged me out. I haven’t seen any in game screen shots on the site but I thought this would amuse you.

The second one actually looks like a hilarious boobs and butt pose you’d expect from a comic book. Clearly I should put her in the slave girl outfit when recreate this pose for maximum affect.

I cracked up laughing at that last picture.  Maybe that’s what’s happening.  Comic artists are referencing their MMORPG characters!

And now, thanks to you, I can’t get the image of Grand Admiral Thrawn doing the boobs and butt pose out of my head.  It’s making me so amused.  (I have a huge crush on Grand Admiral Thrawn.)
